Qualifikationen

• Must possess a current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Minimum one year experience with individuals who are MR and/or ID.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Provides nursing care according to MD orders, in compliance with nursing and regulatory standards.
• Conducts rounds on assigned shifts.
• Monitors individuals' health needs to ensure well‑being.
• Documents timely, outcome based information.
• Assists in medication administration; prepares and delivers treatments as needed.
• Checks medications and supply inventory; reports to RN Case Manager.
• Assists in training direct care staff on medical information and med administration.
• Provides oversight of AMAP staff and reports concerns to RN Case Manager.
• Monitors compliance with Federal, State, local and OSHA regulations.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team processes.
• Attends meetings, trainings and seminars as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
