Qualifications

• Has earned a bachelor’s degree or is in the process of earning one.
• Understands Montessori philosophy per MSH mission and values.
• Ability to relate sensitively to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Maintains a collaborative relationship with the lead guide and team.
• Professional demeanor and capability to work with young children.
• Shows interest in staff development related to Montessori education.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead guide by maintaining a clean, prepared classroom environment.
• Model grace and courtesy and observe students to support development.
• Manage transitions and reinforce Montessori routines and focus.
• Observe and report on student progress to inform instruction.
• Maintain licensing, safety, and health requirements in the classroom.
• Open and close duties and assist with school activities as needed.
