• Performs patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provides psychological, emotional and physical care and support.
• Maintains the therapeutic environment of the program.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical care per treatment plan, including vital signs and specimen collection.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living as directed by RN.
• Provides input to the nurse regarding patient progress toward goals.
• Promotes and maintains a safe environment conducive to healing.
• Orients newly admitted patients to the program.
• Reports safety concerns to the charge nurse.
• Participates in gathering patients for groups and may co-lead groups.
