Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital in Waltham, MA is seeking a 40-hour LICSW social worker to join our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The role supports adolescents and families through short-term therapy, assessments, and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates will hold a Master’s in Social Work and MA LICSW licensure, with experience in pediatric mental health, group therapy, and collaboration with clinicians across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work.
• Experience in pediatric mental health and family therapy.
• Licensed LICSW in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term individual and group therapy to adolescents in PHP/IOP.
• Conduct patient and family assessments, and assist with discharge planning.
• Assess severity and determine best modality and level of care.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses.
