Job summary

Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook, ME is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II for a full-time night shift in the Adolescent unit. The role focuses on children and adolescents (aged ~12–17) with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD, requiring a compassionate, team-based approach.

The RN II role emphasizes assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding, with BSN preferred and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state RN license; BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days; other certifications may be required per department guidelines.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience required; automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate, and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Assist in applying the RN II level competencies and access needed resources for skill development over time.
