Job summary

Granite Hills Hospital in the Milwaukee area is seeking an Adolescent Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health for full-time roles with 7:00a–7:30p or 7:00p–7:30a shifts and rotating weekends. Nurses provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care to youths managing mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Wisconsin (or eligible to receive/renew).
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
• Adolescent Behavioral Health Experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adolescents in a behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered care to youth with mental health challenges.
• Complete a mandatory two-week orientation and participate in a multidisciplinary team.

Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered care for the greater Milwaukee community. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing.
