Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Adolescent Medicine. The role focuses on psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and delivering psychological/social interventions within a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.

Experience with eating disorders is strongly preferred. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with full-time engagement and opportunities to collaborate across care teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure work experience.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and disease management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients using various modalities as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide psychological/social interventions supporting patients and families.
• Work within Adolescent Medicine with emphasis on eating disorders if applicable.
• Collaborate with team to ensure appropriate levels of care and discharge planning.
