Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Missouri in Waynesville, MO is seeking an Autism Spectrum Disorder Therapist to provide essential therapeutic support to adolescents navigating behavioral challenges and neurodevelopmental disorders.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, lead daily group therapy, and coordinate discharge planning with families and community resources while partnering with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
• Inquire about internship opportunities for Master's program enrollees.
• Current unrestricted LMSW or LPC license preferred.
• Minimum one year of hospital-based psychiatric experience.
• Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.
• Passion for working with youth and families.
• Commitment to CPR and Handle With Care Training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Build support networks by coordinating with families and community resources.
• Lead engaging daily group therapy sessions with adolescents.
