Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri in Waynesville, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, functional environment for adolescents in a residential setting. The role focuses on keeping facilities in good working order within a behavioral health program.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a valid Missouri driver’s license is preferred. This is an on-site role offering competitive pay and benefits.

• Facilitate communication with students, ensuring they understand instructions and feel comfortable expressing their needs and concerns.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and resources necessary for classroom activities and lessons.

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients as a Maintenance Technician at Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri - Waynesville. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible in ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment of care for adolescents facing behavioral challenges and medically complex physical conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Missouri Driver's License is preferred
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Experience in a mental health setting (preferably with adolescents), and knowledge of child/adolescent growth and development, and the ability to relate to adolescents with substance abuse or mental health problems.
