Job summary

Leidos is seeking an ADMS Technology Engineer to design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support software, hardware, and integrated systems for grid operations.

Based in Reston, VA with onsite work required; travel to NJ may be needed. You will collaborate with analysts, product managers and operators to ensure reliable, compliant solutions and provide performance reporting using Power BI, deployments, patches, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting or implementing Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), SCADA, OMS, DMS, or related utility operational technologies.
• Knowledge of utility operations, grid management systems, and real-time operational environments.
• Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, network, and system integration issues.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, operational workflows, and end-user needs to translate them into technical solution designs and deployment plans.
• Perform peer reviews of technical designs, implementation plans, configuration settings, code, and deployment artifacts for accuracy and cybersecurity compliance.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend short-term workarounds and long-term actions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure ADMS functionality meets defined service levels and standards.
• Support deployment activities for new features, upgrades, patches, and defect resolutions.
