Job summary

Everforth Apex in Kansas City, MO, is seeking an ADMS Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of advanced distribution management system programs supporting grid modernization.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, IT and vendors, manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and organizational change to ensure reliable, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 5+ years supporting utility technology, grid modernization, or ADMS initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder technology programs.
  • Strong understanding of electric utility operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ADMS program delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and governance.
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee implementation of DMS, OMS, SCADA, DERMS, and supporting integrations.
  • Direct testing activities including FAT, SAT, UAT, cutover, and stabilization.
  • Drive risk management, issue resolution, and executive-level reporting.
  • Lead organizational change management, training, and operational readiness efforts.
  • Ensure alignment with utility business objectives, regulatory requirements, and reliability goals.

# ADMS Program ManagerApply**Job#: 3051181****Job Description:**The ADMS Program Manager leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) programs that support grid modernization initiatives. This role oversees cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, IT, and vendor organizations to implement and optimize ADMS solutions including DMS, OMS, SCADA, and DERMS capabilities.
