Job summary

Astera Cancer Care is seeking an Admixture Technician to support our infusion center operations between Middletown and Westbrook locations. You will order and stock IV medications, help maintain the drug preparation area, and prepare IV products aseptically for outpatient care.

The role requires at least two years in a practice pharmacy setting, familiarity with computer systems, and a preference for oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a practice pharmacy setting.
• Knowledge of computer systems used in clinic pharmacy operations.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Familiarity with infusion center workflows and IV medication preparation.

Responsibilities

• Order and stock IV medications and maintain adequate supplies for the infusion center.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the drug preparation area and the infusion room.
• Accurately prepares IV products in accordance with guidelines and aseptic technique.
• Willing to travel between Middletown and Westbrook locations.
• No nights, weekends or holidays.
