Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a compassionate Admitting Counselor/Registration Clerk to join our La Crosse team. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly with a 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift, plus every 4th week rotation covering additional hours.

You will verify demographics, confirm insurance, and inform patients about financial responsibilities. Starting pay is $17.93+ per hour with shift differentials for overnights and weekends, and you’ll have access to our Career Development Center and

• 1 year experience in general support or service area, basic occupational knowledge and skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities preferred.

What's Available:

• 1.0 FTE (80 hours bi-weekly)
• Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
• Every 4th week rotation: Monday - Wednesday: 3:00 PM -11:30 PM + Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM -3:30 PM
• Location: La Crosse Emergency Services/Urgent Care
