Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a Part-time Admitting/Registration Clerk to join our front desk team. You will pre-admit, admit, and/or register patients and visitors, ensuring accurate routing and escorting as needed. You will handle paperwork, obtain signatures, and verify information for accuracy.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability, with a flexible schedule to meet department needs. High school graduate or equivalent is required, and prior admitting/registration experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Admitting/Registration is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering patients, families, or visitors and guiding them as needed.
• Register inpatient and outpatient as required.
• Obtain signatures, complete paperwork, and distribute correctly with accuracy.
• Check all paperwork for completeness and accuracy before leaving the area.
