Job summary

Your Jared is seeking an Admissions Support Representative to provide remote support for recruiting and enrollment of qualified students across all campuses. The role reports to the Director of Admissions Support and collaborates with campus teams to help the Admissions department achieve its goals.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of admissions experience required.
  • Experience with outside sales, customer service, and quality assurance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information to applicants per admissions criteria.
  • Maintain a professional, businesslike manner with clients, students, and staff.
  • Conduct virtual prospective student interviews as directed by leadership.
  • Engage prospective students using vendor resources to schedule campus appointments.
  • Manage recruitment activity in CRM with timely updates and notes.
  • Perform outreach via phone, text and email to schedule and follow up with appointments.
  • Meet or exceed admissions activity and referral generation targets.
  • Adhere to federal financial aid policies in admissions activities.
  • Prepare, complete and submit admissions documents promptly.
  • Partner with campus Admissions staff to support recruitment efforts.

Job description

The Admissions Support Representative provides remote support for the recruiting and enrollment of qualified students across all campuses. This role reports to the Director of Admissions Support and works closely with campus teams to assist the Admissions department in achieving its goals.

Pay Range: $22.50-33

Location: Remote

  • Responsible for providing accurate information to and determining the acceptability of individuals making application to the school based upon the admissions criteria established by the school as outlined in the school catalog
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and businesslike manner to clients, students, and other personnel, at all times
  • Conduct virtual prospective student interviews in accordance with the outline in the “Admissions Exceptional Trust Manual” or as directed by the Director of Admissions Support and/or Enrollment Enablement Manager
  • Effectively utilizes vendor resources to engage or re-engage prospective students, schedule campus appointments, and facilitate the highest level of customer service
  • Effectively manages student recruitment activity through scheduled appointments, timely updates, and detailed notes in CRM
  • Perform sufficient phone, text, and email outreach to schedule appointments, follow up on appointment no-shows, and maintain consistent communication for a quality student experience
  • Must consistently meet or exceed the criteria set forth by the Enrollment Enablement Manger and/or Director of Admissions Support regarding admissions support activity, appointment and interview expectations, and the generation of student referrals
  • Adhere to all Federal financial aid policies relating to admissions activities
  • Accurately prepare, complete, and submit all required admissions documents and records in a timely manner where appropriate
  • Partner effectively with campus Admissions departments/staff at the campus to support recruitment activities
  • Be able to direct any student or prospective student to the school catalog on the Concorde website
  • Follow only prescribed enrollment procedures authorized by the school
  • Other duties as assigned
  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an admissions representative (required)
  • Experience with outside sales, customer service, and quality assurance (preferred)
  • Some Saturday work required (1-2x a month)
  • Strong customer service and organizational skill
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able and willing to:
    • Communicate, think, learn, and reason
    • Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks
    • Safely ambulate and/or maneuver when on-site at Company locations
    • Demonstrate and utilize active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering and category flexibility
  • Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are worked simultaneously
  • Ability to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates essential functions of the position
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
  • This position is designated as Remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
