Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Healthcare experience
• 1-3 years related experience in billing, insurance or registration

Responsibilities

• Registers patients in a timely and accurate manner and enters demographic, insurance and other required information.
• Completes insurance verifications, pre-certification/authorization for assigned accounts.
• Generates patient estimates, educates patients about plan benefits, and collects deposits per policy.
• Maintains positive patient relations and communicates HIPAA practices.
• Coordinates internal hospital messages, CCDS imports, and answers phones promptly.
