Job summary

Glen Oaks Hospital in Greenville, Texas, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7pm–7am night shift to manage admissions, triage, and patient coordination. You will verify insurance, complete assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth admissions.

1–3 years in psychiatric health care is preferred; Texas RN licensure is required, with CPR and de-escalation training prior to restraints.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Experience: 1-3 years in psychiatric health care preferred.
• Licensure: currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely processing of inquiry and referral calls.
• Coordinate all admissions processes and liaise with referral sources, families, payors, physicians, and hospital personnel.
• Verify insurance, triage patients, complete assessments, staff clinically, enter calls and admissions in the system, and complete admission paperwork.
• Pre-certify with payor sources and follow hospital admissions policies.
