Job summary

American Senior Communities in Indiana is seeking an Admissions Nurse RN (Healthcare) to lead clinical operations in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on coordinating resident care, ensuring smooth admissions, and maintaining high quality patient experiences.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree and Indiana RN license, with at least three years' geriatric clinical experience and a year in department management.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of three years' clinical experience in Geriatric or Gerontology with at least one year in a Departmental Manager role in Long-Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in residents' lives through excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Coordinate resident care between shifts to ensure continuity and appropriate interventions.
• Monitor admissions to ensure care plans are in place and transitioned smoothly.
• Oversee evening/weekend discharges to ensure proper care and wellbeing of residents.
• Provide education and training to direct care givers on changes in condition to maintain continuity of care.
