Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• De-escalation Training: Handle with Care (HWC) certification.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and treatment modalities.
• Understanding of patient care standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to determine appropriate levels of care.
• Coordinate insurance coverage and authorization processes.
• Liaise with patients, families, referral sources and treatment teams.
• Document assessments, referrals and related interactions.
• Track referrals and admissions data.
