Primary Purpose of Position
Aid the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in recruitment efforts. Assist in admissions application evaluation and prospective student outreach. Enhance UNCP brand awareness by participating in virtual and in-person recruitment activities. Respond to prospective student inquiries and engage with prospective student decision influencers.
The Admissions Representative will be a first impression contact and recruiter for UNC Pembroke. The representative will be responsible for marketing the UNCP brand in identified markets and will provide general college advising to assist students in the admissions application submission. The representative will respond to and answer general questions about UNCP academic programs, majors, student life, athletics, clubs and organizations, and the North Carolina Promise tuition plan.

Preference will be given to applicants with recruitment or sales experience, and to those with direct higher education admissions recruitment experience. Other education experience such as college advising, teaching, or counseling will also be highly considered.
