Responsibilities

  • Coverage of admissions phone line, online chats, and email.
  • Obtain and oversee the acquisition of complete patient/client information.
  • Explain insurance benefits to potential patients and their families.
  • Consult with Admissions Supervisor and Clinical Team about potential admissions.
  • Discuss payment options with potential patients/clients.
  • Verify acquisition of records from transferring facilities.
  • Provide the Program Director with information on new patients.
  • Ensure a gender-specific client pickup is scheduled.

This is a full‑time on‑site position at our Corporate Office in Meridian, ID.

Compensation

$22‑$26 per hour + shift differential.

Schedule

Sunday to Wednesday, 7 am–5:30 pm.

Position Summary

As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Admissions Representative is responsible for overseeing the patient/client admissions lifecycle and consistently driving the census at each facility. The role manages a large amount of inbound and outbound lead generation activities, including telephone calls, email communications, and online chats to prospect and develop leads. The representative works with multiple departments and outside vendors to ensure all goals are achieved and serves as an ambassador of Northpoint, adhering to our Core Values while assisting all potential clients.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Coverage of admissions phone line, online chats, and email.
  • Obtain or oversee the acquisition of complete and accurate patient/client information pertinent for admission.
  • Explain insurance benefits to potential patients/clients and their families.
  • Consult with Admissions Supervisor, Program Director, and Clinical Team about potential admissions.
  • Discuss payment options with potential patients/clients and/or family members or fiduciaries.
  • Verify acquisition of records from transferring and/or previous facilities and ensure timely receipt of all necessary patient/client records.
  • Provide the Program Director with information on new patients/clients to aid in schedule development.
  • Alert Clinical Team about new patients/clients and ensure a gender specific client pickup is scheduled.
  • Interact with the patient/client and family and prepare them for the transition; communicate with the Clinical Team as necessary.
  • Verify that all involved parties have been contacted and provided with pertinent admission information.
  • Maintain contact with referral sources in cooperation with marketers.
  • Ensure accurate referral sources are entered into the electronic medical records system.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the admissions office.
  • Drive company vehicle for official and approved business and ensure safe transport.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and standards of care.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
