Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont in Oakmont, TX is hiring an Admissions Representative to interface with visitors, patients and physicians for admissions.

Role includes clerical admission duties, ensuring proper documentation in the PAS/EHR systems, directing patients on arrival, and handling calls and messages with a focus on timely admissions. Weekdays only schedule; no holidays or weekends; on-site, full-time position.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred in medical office or hospital.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent telephone and people skills.
• Ability to utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation to patient accounts.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clerical duties involved with admission of patients, keeping delays to a minimum.
• Ensures identification, insurance and all Admissions paperwork is accurate and scanned into the PAS system.
• Directs patient to appropriate area upon arrival.
• Ensures patient is registered and marked properly in the PAS system.
• Understands how to add a walk-in or direct admit into the PAS system.
• Prepares charts/packets as assigned.
• Expedites patient complaints and concerns promptly to correct department.
• Answers incoming calls, responding correctly or transferring as needed.
• Assists with distribution of messages.
• Responds promptly when code is alerted.

Registration Representative | Baylor Surgicare at Oakmont:

Interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person for patient admission to Baylor Surgicare.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs clerical duties involved with admission of patients, keeping delays to a minimum

• BLS certification

• Excellent telephone skills - ability to screen incoming calls, adequately respond to telephone inquiries
• Ability to utilize Electronic Heath Care Record system for documentation to patients account/record
