Baylor Surgicare Cityview, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Admission Testing in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on coordinating preoperative nursing care, data collection, and care planning with an emphasis on age-appropriate patient needs.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Texas, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years in a surgical/perioperative setting, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for pre-admission testing.
• Collect and analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Develop and implement plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions to attain outcomes and document progress.
• Evaluate patient/family progress toward outcomes and adjust plan as needed.
• Provide age-specific care and sensitivity to patient/family needs.

Registered Nurse Pre-Admission Testing at Baylor Surgicare Cityview

The Pre Admissions Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.
