Austin Oaks Hospital is seeking an Admissions Generalist for full-time evenings (3p-11p) in South Austin. You will be the first contact for admission inquiries, routing patients for assessment, answering calls, and handling data entry and census reporting.

Austin Oaks Hospital is seeking a qualified, energetic and positive candidate for the Admissions Generalist - Full-time Evenings 3p-11p. The Admission Generalist Serves as the initial contact for admission inquiries. Routes prospective patient / inquirer to appropriate person for assessment. Answers and forwardincoming calls. Provides accurate and timely data entry, coping of documents, and daily census reports. To assist admissions in providing direct patient care and supervision of all psychiatric patients; to ensure safety, including crisis intervention.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalency required or Associate degree preferred.

Experience: At least 1 year experience working in a hospital setting handling patients admissions, insurance verifications, benifits eligiblilty, answering a multi-line swithchboard, and responding to inquiires to admissions.
