Job summary

American Addiction Centers seeks an Outreach Associate to build relationships with qualified referral partners in the Phoenix, AZ territory and to facilitate admissions to AAC treatment programs.

This role requires frequent travel across multiple states, strong communication and presentation skills for agencies, hospitals and discharge planners, and diligent CRM maintenance. A four‑year degree or equivalent experience in addiction treatment marketing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in addiction treatment marketing field.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to travel through an area covering multiple states.
• Technologically savvy.
• Ability to create reports outlining weekly visits.
• Knowledge of the substance abuse industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key referral partners in the Phoenix and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a regular servicing schedule balancing referral partner maintenance and new business development.
• Manage all client communications and CRM remotely, via AAC provided smart devices.
• Convert inquiries into admissions and track KPI performance.
• Assist clinical team with discharge planning and coordinate transfers when needed.
