Job summary

Owens Community College is seeking an Admissions Recruiter to manage communications with prospective students and support enrollment efforts across an assigned territory. You will build relationships, promote the college at events, and coordinate campus visits and tours.

The role requires evening/weekend availability and travel, with a full-time schedule and a baseline focus on student-centered outreach and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 1–3 years related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to prioritize tasks.
• Goal- and results-driven; able to work independently or in a team.
• Student-centered philosophy and ability to apply retention metrics.

Responsibilities

• Assess and communicate with potential students to evaluate eligibility and engage them in recruitment and admissions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with prospective students, high school counselors, and others in the territory.
• Represent the College at regional and national events; participate in travel as needed.
• Coordinate and execute campus visits to promote interest and generate leads and applications.
• Offer campus tours and support enrollment efforts as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
