Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and increase admitted, enrolled, and underrepresented students.
• Develop recruitment plans for assigned areas and schools.
• Coordinate with high school counselors to facilitate applications.
• Track applicants and follow up with students and parents.
• Advise prospective students on admissions statuses and policies.
• Build relationships with TAMUS members and counselors to improve service.
• Conduct on- and off-campus public speaking and maintain records.
• Review applications and assist with third reviews of applications.
• Resolve extenuating circumstances, complaints, and appeals of admissions denials.
• Organize events including accommodations, itineraries, meals, speakers, and records.
• Coordinate major office programs and serve on committees.
