  • Collaborate with prospective students to ensure completion of applications.
  • Become familiar with the demographics of the working territory.
  • Actively participate in all relevant events.
  • Demonstrate respect and professionalism when interacting with others.
  • Follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.

Job description

Position Summary

As an Admissions Recruiter at Clinton College, you will play a crucial role in expanding our Enrollment Pipeline by representing the college to prospective students and organizations. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, you will acquire inquiries and applications through various channels, including events, referrals, private school visits, online and print communications, social media, and outreach to businesses and organizations to cultivate relationships.

  • Department: Admissions
  • Classification: Full-time
  • Shift: Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑4:30 pm; additional hours as requested and/or needed.
  • Reports To: Director of Admissions
Responsibilities
  • Travel up to 80 % of the time during peak season (August‑December).
  • Plan and implement recruitment activities and strategies to cultivate and recruit prospective applicants in the assigned territories.
  • Complete a weekly activity report documenting recruitment/outreach activities and student appointments.
  • Ensure timely completion of registration deadlines, contribute to college‑wide enrollment objectives, and provide exceptional customer service to attract students to Clinton College programs.
  • Develop and maintain a database of school counselors, administrators, and contacts with whom workshops and information sessions can be scheduled to increase inquiry production.
  • Utilize phone, email, and mail to communicate with prospective students in a timely manner, providing superior student service.
  • Collaborate with prospective students to ensure completion of applications.
  • Become familiar with the demographics of the working territory to recruit effectively for Clinton College.
  • Under the guidance of the Director, actively participate in all relevant events, including information sessions, orientations, registration events, graduation ceremonies, and other related activities as required.
  • Consistently demonstrate respect and professionalism when interacting with employees, students, and guests of the institution, and avoid any actions that may disrupt efficient functioning of the college.
  • Follow instructions, complete tasks accurately, and welcome supervisory guidance and constructive feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Valid driver’s license (required for extensive travel).
