Job summary

Boston Public Health Commission seeks a Program Manager for Transitions TSS and Mattapan Recovery Services Campus. You will oversee admissions, referrals, and discharge processes, ensuring compliance with state licensing and federal regulations, while leading a team and coordinating with the Billing and Revenue department.

The role requires advanced organizational skills, trauma-informed leadership, and strong communication to support a diverse client population within a multi-site program.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Public Health or related field; or BA/BS with substantial experience
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects in public health
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and follow instructions
• Familiarity with local community agencies and health care providers

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee admissions and related services for Transitions TSS and Mattapan campuses
• Lead Admissions Team to develop goals, evaluate outcomes, and report findings
• Coordinate referrals, screenings, admissions, intakes, and discharges
• Maintain EMR records and ensure compliance with licensing and reporting requirements
• Collaborate on Quality Assurance and Improvement projects
• Engage in trauma-informed care and de-escalation during crises
• Oversee staff hiring, scheduling, training, and supervision
• Manage billing and documentation related to client services
• Outreach to referral sources and external partners
• Provide staff orientation and ensure confidentiality and professional development
