Job summary

Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, seeks an Admissions Outreach Administrator to manage regional recruitment and engage high school counselors, students, parents, and community partners through events and personalized outreach.

The role reports to the Associate Director of Outreach in Admissions and includes coordinating alumni outreach, internal recruitment support, and contributing to admission processing and decision-making with a commitment to BYU's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of higher education recruitment experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage deadlines and detail-oriented projects; creative, self-starting approach; willing to travel.
• Willingness to legally drive and travel within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present at outreach recruitment events and travel to events across the country for ~10 weeks per year.
• Serve as the High School Representative for BYU Admissions and explain admission criteria to counselors, prospective students and parents.
• Develop alumni outreach strategies to connect with prospective students and support applications.
• Coordinate internal recruitment support for department events and ensure high-quality outreach.
• Assist with applicant communications and admission decision-making processes.
