Job summary

Redwood Cove Healthcare Center is seeking an Admission Coordinator/Marketer to support facility operations by increasing census and directing marketing and public relations programs. The role includes managing admissions, coordinating with nursing and case management, and ensuring smooth patient intake and bed availability.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field preferred.
• Two years' Admissions experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage the admissions process efficiently to ensure a positive experience for residents, families and supporting staff.
• Plan, direct and monitor daily Admissions Department operations to meet census goals and ensure professional admissions.
• Admit patients to the health care facility and complete admission and financial responsibility forms.
• Screen patients by comparing condition to admission criteria.
