The Admissions Officer performs a wide range of entry‑level admissions duties, including management of a designated recruitment territory, acting as the Dartmouth liaison to guidance counselors and prospective applicants from the assigned territory, traveling to high schools to attract qualified students, reviewing and assessing applications, and conducting group information sessions on campus and on the road in a one-year renewable appointment.
Appointment is for one year, renewable for a second year upon successful performance in the role.

Admissions Functions - Plans, organizes and manages all admissions activities, including general and targeted recruitment travel, for a designated geographic region. Represents Dartmouth at school visits, college fairs and related recruitment events. Completes the preliminary evaluation of at least 1,200 undergraduate applications per year. Assists with the coordination of recruitment projects and outreach initiatives. Espouses the enduring value of a liberal arts education and securing a high‑achieving and diverse student body.
