Job summary

Medford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an Admission Marketer to support sales efforts and strengthen relationships with referral sources to drive resident admissions.

The role involves networking with external partners, creating marketing plans, conducting tours, and managing admission documentation including Medicaid applications. A strong emphasis on detail, follow-up, and teamwork with the administrative staff is required.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with solid computer skills.
• Ability to build relationships with external referral sources.
• Experience supporting marketing/admissions in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of admissions processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Spend time focused on sales activities and help meet census goals by working with the facility's administrative team through external networking and marketing of all featured patient care services and the resulting outcomes of care to coordinate a consistent resident flow into the nursing facility.
• Create and implement marketing plans to achieve maximum occupancy goals.
• Meet with prospective residents and families and conduct tours as needed.
• Maintain an accurate referral source contact list and follow up with all leads and referral sources in a timely manner.
• Assess and respond to referrers within one hour of receipt of inquiries; facilitate admission decisions and ensure a positive experience for residents and families.
• Execute, collect and review all necessary documentation for admissions and Medicaid applications.
• Implement a system to follow-up with all inquiries that have not yet been converted to an admission; maintain statistics and report as requested.
• Collaborate with Administration and facility staff to ensure effective admissions, discharge and transfer meetings for all residents.
