Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Admissions Liaison to oversee an efficient admissions process for inpatients and outpatients, coordinating referrals, validating information, and facilitating scheduling and admission. This role emphasizes a compassionate, home-like environment and impact on patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician preferred.
• Current State Professional License preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with hospital admissions procedures and regulatory guidelines for admission to a hospital preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary process and levels of care, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
