Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Admissions Liaison to coordinate admissions for inpatients and outpatients, validate information, and facilitate scheduling and admissions. This role supports a compassionate, home-like environment while managing referrals and essential patient data.

The ideal candidate will have a clinical license, CPR certification, and experience with hospital admissions procedures and multidisciplinary care coordination.

Qualifications

• License clinician preferred.
• Current State Professional License preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with hospital admissions procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
