Job summary

Encompass Health in Birmingham, AL, invites you to join a weekend Admissions Liaison role where your compassion meets purpose. You will coordinate referrals, validate information, and facilitate scheduling and admission for both inpatients and outpatients, helping to streamline the admission process.

This position supports a national inpatient rehabilitation leader known for awards and growth. An opportunity to impact patient care while working close to home, with benefits starting from day one

Qualifications

• One or more years in hospital admissions procedures, preferred.
• Licensure as a clinician required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Preform pre-certifications.
• Assemble Admissions consent packets.
• Maintain accurate listing of all patients in hospital.
• Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
• Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
