Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a PRN Admissions/Intake Coordinator to support Admissions RNs, Assessment Counselors, and the Director of Admissions. You will coordinate assessments, initiate intake paperwork, collect insurance information, and ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.

The role includes supporting flexible hours with opportunities to advance through UHS and its 300+ locations, with a focus on providing quality patient-centered intake services.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in a hospital intake department (1–3 years) preferred.
CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training completed or can be obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

Assist Admissions RNs, Assessment Counselors, and the Director of Admissions with coordinating assessments.
Initiate Intake paperwork and collect insurance information.
Work with Receptionist to ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: One to three years’ experience working in a hospital intake department preferred.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention training (i.e., CPI). Certification may be obtained during new hire orientation. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
