Job summary

South Carolina Aquarium is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor, Admissions in Charleston, SC. The role leads the daily operations of the Guest Services Admissions team, ensuring smooth entry and exceptional guest experiences while overseeing staff, schedules, and training.

The position requires at least three years in guest services, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with POS/CRM/ticketing systems, with supervisory preference. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in a guest service or customer-facing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with point of sale, CRM and/or ticketing/reservations systems preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Guest Services Admissions Associates to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Deliver efficient, friendly service and address guest needs.
• Train, coach, and mentor staff with training documentation.
• Create and manage daily staff schedules and rotations.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery per the Service Recovery Plan.
• Oversee opening/closing and admissions equipment functioning.
• Crosstrain with the Guest Services Center and provide phone/email support.
