Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Admissions Director in West Virginia to oversee the patient admissions process, develop referral sources, and manage payer relationships. The role emphasizes brand stewardship, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality care and timely admissions.

The position requires at least 3 years in a healthcare setting, with flexible scheduling to meet nursing center needs and admissions traffic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to adjust work schedule based on nursing centers’ business need, specifically incoming admissions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions process to achieve census and payer goals.
• Expand patient referral source list and ensure quick referral response times.
• Lead brand stewardship by updating the nursing center’s website and managing social media engagement.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure smooth transition-of-care with strong patient/family communication.
• Improve referral-to-admit and tour-to-admit conversion rates to meet targets.
