Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Admissions Director to lead the admissions process from inquiry to move-in. The role focuses on providing a warm, informative experience for families and coordinating with care teams to ensure the right placement.

Salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 with daily pay options. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in Admissions/Marketing in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the admissions process from inquiry to move-in, ensuring a compassionate experience.
• Conduct tours for prospective residents and families, communicating services and options clearly.
• Assess needs to ensure proper placement and safety.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and families for documentation.
• Maintain resident records in compliance with regulations and privacy laws.
• Lead admissions initiatives to meet census goals and build partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transitions for new residents.

Responsibilities for Admissions Director

• Oversee and manage the entire admissions process from initial inquiry through resident move-in, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for prospective residents and their families.
• Conduct engaging and informative tours for prospective residents and families, clearly communicating our services, care options, and community environment.
• Assess the needs of potential residents to ensure appropriate placement and a strong fit within the community, prioritizing safety, well-being, and quality of care.
• Coordinate closely with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to gather necessary documentation and ensure a smooth and timely admissions process.
• Maintain accurate, organized resident records in full compliance with state regulations, federal guidelines, and privacy laws.
• Lead admissions efforts with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and maintaining strong community partnerships to support census goals.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for new residents and a positive first experience within the community.

Qualifications for Admissions Director

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Admissions, Marketing, or a similar role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage families with empathy and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, manage sensitive conversations, and guide families through decision-making processes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, as admissions and marketing responsibilities may require.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
