Valley Hope of Cushing is seeking an Admissions Counselor (LADC/LCSW/LPC/LMFT) to join our admissions team in Cushing, OK. The role involves conducting biopsychosocial assessments during intake, applying ASAM criteria, and determining the appropriate level of care for patients.

The position requires a master's degree in behavioral sciences, education, or social work, and current licensure or supervision in one of the listed credentials. CPR/First Aid certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral sciences, education, or social work.
• Fully licensed or under supervision as LADC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• 1+ year of clinical counseling experience; substance abuse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a key member of the admissions team to support prospective patients and secure Valley Hope as the service provider.
• Conduct clinical assessments during admissions intake and apply ASAM criteria.
• Perform pre-certification insurance processes for admissions.
• Input and maintain electronic records accurately in EMR systems.
• Provide backup support to Admissions Coordinator and Nursing for intake and administrative tasks.
