Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID. This role focuses on direct recruitment activities and guiding eligible youth toward career paths and educational opportunities.

You will interview candidates, collect required documents, and support enrollment while traveling within Idaho using the center’s vehicle. The position is full-time with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services or related field.
• Associate degree + 2 years related experience is required or preferred.
• A valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

What you will be doing

You’ll be responsible for conducting direct recruitment activities and interfacing with other outreach contractors for student enrollment. In addition, empowers young adults by guiding them towards valuable career paths and educational opportunities in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions

• Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking, develop linkage with referral resources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches; participate in center tours and contact potential enrollees.
• Interview interested candidates and obtained required information on each one, ensure all documents required to support eligibility are obtained, properly completed, and included in applicant's folder.
• Arrange for reception of candidates upon acceptance into program.
• Follow up on student progress, e.g., length of stay and separation.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business communications or closely related field; or associate degree and 2 years related experience required.
• Experience may include sales and successful outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth programs.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
