Job summary

KeyStone Center in Chester, PA, is seeking an Admissions Counselor to perform telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, engage with referral sources, coordinate the referral and intake process, and determine the appropriate level of care. The role includes facilitating admissions and maintaining ongoing communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.

Qualifications

• Master's preferred but Bachelor's degree required with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with substance abuse and dual diagnosis population, preferred.
