Job summary

Central Oregon Community CLG is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to help coordinate college admissions and recruiting services and to represent the College at recruiting events on and off campus. The role focuses on outreach to high schools, enrollment support for students, and participation in college fairs and recruitment activities regionally.

  • Assist students through the enrollment process (e.g. account activation, application, scholarships)
  • Participate in area high schools career days, special workshops for student clubs and associations, and related events.
  • Register, coordinate and participate in national, regional, and state college fairs in-district, out-of-district\\border state, and out-of-state, as assigned. As directed, visit out of area high schools, both in and out of the state; approximately six to eight weeks per year.

The Admissions Coordinator position coordinates College admissions and recruiting services and represents the College by traveling to and participating in recruiting events both on and off campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment Operations – Off Campus
  • As directed, coordinate all high school outreach and recruiting initiatives:
    • Visit in-district high schools on a regular schedule promoting the College to students and developing working relationships with high school counseling and future center staff;
    • Assist students through the enrollment process (e.g. account activation, application, scholarships)
    • Participate in area high schools career days, special workshops for student clubs and associations, and related events.
    • Other recruiting events not listed above but in line with the College’s recruitment and marketing plan.
  • Register, coordinate and participate in national, regional, and state college fairs in-district, out-of-district\border state, and out-of-state, as assigned. As directed, visit out of area high schools, both in and out of the state; approximately six to eight weeks per year.
