About The Role
National Polytechnic College is seeking a motivated, personable, and professional Part-Time Admissions Coordinator to join our Henderson campus team. This position plays an important role in helping prospective students take the next step in their education by guiding them through the admissions process for our medical imaging degree programs.
Admissions & Recruitment Responsibilities
- Recruit prospective students for National Polytechnic College medical imaging programs.
- Contact prospective students by phone, email, and text to provide information, answer questions, and schedule on‑campus or virtual interviews and campus visits.
- Conduct admissions activities professionally, ethically, and in accordance with the Admissions Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Accurately communicate program, admissions, and institutional information and avoid misrepresentation at all times.
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process and assist with required documentation and next steps.
- Schedule orientation sessions and other required activities prior to program start dates.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current students through in‑person, telephone, email, and text message communications.
- Accurately document admissions/recruitment activities in the College's CRM in a timely manner.
- Maintain, organize, and submit admissions paperwork, reports, and required documentation.
- Participate in community outreach, referral development, campus events, and off‑site recruitment activities as assigned.
- Available to work weekends, as needed.
- Provide feedback to campus leadership regarding recruitment activities, challenges, opportunities, and prospective student trends.
- Work collaboratively with Admissions, Student Services, Academic Affairs, and other departments to support a positive student experience.
- Report regularly to the Campus Director and Admissions Director regarding all admissions metrics, recruitment activities, updates, and strategic goals.
Professional Development & Compliance
- Attend required admissions training, workshops, meetings, and seminars.
- Maintain current knowledge of the College’s programs, admissions procedures, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of prospective and current student information.
- Follow College policies, procedures, and federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years of college admissions experience required.
- High School Diploma – College degree highly preferred.
- Ability to identify prospective students' career goals, addressing personal or financial hesitations, and matching them with suitable educational programs.
- Previous administrative, admissions, recruiting, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience using CRM systems, admissions software, or student information systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lead engaging group presentations, campus tours, information sessions, and community events.
- Proven ability to connect with prospective students effectively via phone, email, text messaging, and virtual platforms.
- Professional, customer‑service‑oriented demeanor in person, by telephone, and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and the public.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation for off‑site recruitment or promotional activities, when required.
- Sales or recruitment experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Additional Information
- Position is based at the National Polytechnic College Henderson campus.
- Occasional travel to the College's main campus in California may be required for training.
- Compensation: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
