PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana - North Campus is seeking an admissions support professional to assist with referrals, intake, verification and pre-certification for new patients. The role serves as a back-up to the Admissions Manager and supports a smooth admissions process within a busy acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, healthcare registration experience, and familiarity with medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; business or technical school preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare registration role.

Responsibilities

Provides admissions office support for the facility. Manages referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions process. Serves as a back-up to the Admissions Manager. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Training: A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Business or Technical School is preferred. Medical terminology and knowledge of process of insurance verification is required.

Experience: At least one (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function.
