A leading healthcare provider is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to manage patient admissions and provide essential information to clients and families. This full-time role requires an RN or a Master's in human services, focusing on children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting. North Spring is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team as an on-call employee.
The Admissions Coordinator manages patient admissions by screening at the pre-hospital level to ensure criteria are met. The role involves assisting clients, families, and referral sources, and providing information about treatment, insurance, and admission procedures.
This position is full-time, evening shift, reporting to the Director of Admissions. Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, evening shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
Location: Leesburg, Virginia—a scenic 45-acre campus with amenities like a gymnasium, outdoor spaces, and a high ropes course, located 40 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. The area offers a highly rated public school system and was named one of the best places to live by Money magazine.
Compensation: Competitive salary with shift differential. Three meals daily provided at no cost.
Education: RN or a minimum of a Master's Degree in human services (psychology, social work, counseling). Licensed eligible or LCSW/LPC preferred.
Experience: Preferably with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting. Must be at least 21 years old. Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to rotate shifts and maintain confidentiality. Demonstrates mental and emotional stability to perform essential job functions. Knowledge of psychology principles and child development is advantageous.
