New Day Recovery in Ohio is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support the intake and admissions process for detoxification and residential treatment services. You will be a primary contact for clients, referral sources, insurers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth admissions experience.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old
• BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen required
• Associate degree in healthcare administration or Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• Minimum one year experience in admissions coordination, insurance verification, medical billing, or related healthcare administration

Mansioni

• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external calls, fostering positive communication with clients, referral sources, and third-party payors.
• Coordinate the intake and admission process for new clients, ensuring eligibility, accuracy, and compliance with program criteria.
• Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and authorization requirements for all admissions.
• Assist non-covered individuals in identifying alternative funding sources when possible.
• Communicate client financial responsibilities and coordinate payment arrangements with designated staff.
• Maintain awareness of ASAM criteria for levels of care and all third-party payor requirements for detoxification and residential services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation consistent with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative teams to support seamless client transitions.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and process improvement efforts to enhance admissions efficiency and client experience.
