Job summary

MediLodge of Shoreline is seeking an Admissions Director to manage the inquiry and admission processes, coordinate facility tours, and present information to prospective residents and families.

You will lead community education activities, build relationships with discharge planners, hospitals, and referral sources, and supervise admissions staff to ensure compliant, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associate and/or bachelor’s degree in business/communications preferred.
• Two years equivalent experience in the Long-Term Care Industry in lieu of degree.
• Previous healthcare admissions/community relations experience preferred.
• RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources; manages the inquiry process professionally and timely.
• Manages the admission process by maintaining updated bed availability and facility services information.
• Conducts facility tours and manages occupancy levels and census/premium mix.
