Job summary

Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join Branches Outpatient Services in a full-time, on-site capacity. The role supports receiving, scheduling, and referring admission inquiries, coordinating with inpatient teams for smooth transitions, and handling transportation and intake documentation.

Daily collaboration with care teams, compliance focus, and coordination with community providers are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field, QMHA preferred.
Two years’ mental health experience.
Data collection and report writing experience.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
May require overtime and flexible hours.
AHA BLS CPR within 30 days of hire.
Handle with Care de-escalation training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist in receiving, scheduling and/or referring admission inquiry calls.
Go on-site to inpatient hospital daily; coordinate with patient care teams for smooth transitions.
Coordinate transportation; communicate admissions status with identified parties.
Enter data into designated computer systems; initiate intake paperwork and collect insurance info.
Work with Director of Branches Services to ensure compliance; coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
Process referrals and provide updates to community providers on mutual patients.
